An Amazing Adventure At Kaoshiung Taiwan

Taiwan is truly a place worth to go! Taiwan has a nickname which is "King of Fruits". There are so many different fruits that can be found in Taiwan. Prior to my own understanding of Taiwan, I thought Taiwan would be colder than Singapore. But when I came to Kaoshiung, I was shocked that the sun's rays were strong and hot! The people were very warm and nice. This was one of the volunteer family's son that I took a picture of!

 

I was assigned to be at the Ci Sian Junior High School to give presentations about Singapore. It was a very happy experience. The teachers were very nice and the students were very courteous. I was glad to be living with 3 families and enjoyed the Taiwan culture truly. But, I think that this Taiwan trip was good because I learned to be truly independent. I could take mrt and buses myself and return home safely. Everything was good!!!! I would love to come back to see the lovely kids in school again!
