I would go to school from Monday to Friday from aout 7am till 6pm. I prepared a powerpoint introducing Singapore and also introduced some hands-on activities for students to get to know our unique culture better. For instance,we got students to do Henna and prepared fun crossword puzzles with keywords related to our powerpoint for them to attempt.
As for accomodation,I had the priviledge to stay at the homes of 2 teachers. It was a great experience eating dinner with the families each night. Weekends were also fun filled as i would go out to other parts of Taiwan, such as Pingtung,Tainan and Kenting. It was exciting exploring on our own,a completely different experience from going around in tour groups. Language was not an issue either as I am able to converse in Chinese.
The overall experience was wonderful and I would recommend all my friends to go on an AIESEC trip if possible. It will broaden your perspectives and enable you to step out of your comfort zone while learning new things and making new friends.
