Hi (ni hao) ... my name is Rizki Ayu Mauliawati Noor, you can call me Ayu..  im from Indonesia, and im student college in State University of Jakarta, majoring in Geography Education.
A wonderful thing in Taiwan was my dreams to "exchange" had finally reached. I am very thankful to God for all permission to feel the beauty of your creation a friendly country and a million beauties.  Taiwan is a country that considered unique. Many Taiwanese people that I know and had met; they are very nice, friendly, and paying attention in us even though they are new to me. This experience gave a lot of lessons and I was very excited to be introducing Indonesia to Taiwan people who I have met.

Why I took the exchange AIESEC in Taiwan? The answer is very simple, basically I have a dream for the exchange and AIESEC offers project NSYSU taught in High School, PU MEN senior high school, because I think teaching is part of my work later after graduating from university. I come from State University of Jakarta, majoring in geography education and it was the one reason I was interested in teaching in this country .it is sure to be different and give a lot of inspiration when I'll be teaching later in Indonesia.

During the 6 weeks I couldn’t told you about all the details or details of experience, and travel project in Taiwan. The experience of teaching high school students in PU Men Senior High School will be my memory that can’t forget because all the students, teachers, staff, and principal are a very good and provide facilities and project needs when I do teach there.  I teach in my classroom and teach Indonesian culture from Monday until Friday. Furthermore every weekend I had the time to travel and sightseeing as well as some holidays in Kaohsiung.

I also enjoyed travel Tainan and lived in the one PU MEN SHS student’s house. Every day I lived in female dormitory.  I felt living independently and I felt like in the movie which tells the Asian story about boarding schools. Living in dorm is very disciplined and punctual but I really enjoyed this condition because I never felt like dorm life before.
This "Exchange” I knew many other countries as well, when there is an event of AIESEC WTUC who held a "cross culture", that's where I met "exchange participants “from other countries. We do a lot of things, such as stories about their countries, take pictures together and switch contact, Facebook etc.

It is nice to know the team again because of AIESEC NSYSU was always ready to adjust our schedule and when we want to travel accompanied. They always tried to give my best for me. And I already feel that they are doing everything well and make us always comfortable and assisted under any circumstances.

I want to say thank you for everything on this experience very memorable and I was able to meet expectations and have a chance with all the Taiwanese and maybe you guys can come to my country, the country that is full of beauty. INDONESIA. I love Taiwan :) xie xie

I am Chloe HO.I am an EP from Hong Kong. Two months ago, I started my journey to Taiwan to be an international volunteer and stayed there for seven weeks.

Taiwan is a great place. Most of Taiwanese people are very friendly. Here, I made lots of friends. They are teachers, elementary school students, college students and other international volunteers. Taiwan, this lovely place, gave me a great experience which is unforgettable forever!

My duty in Taiwan was to share my culture with the students in an elementary school and help English teachers in that school improve the English ability of students. Students here are quite interested in Hong Kong culture. They will be curious about what you introduce to them and you will find that you really want to share your culture and your experience with the lovely students. All the students want to be friends with you. I am sure you will love these students. Even though after I left Taiwan, they often talk with me on facebook and they always say: Teacher, I miss you. I am really moved by what they say and what they do for me.

Teachers here are also very friendly. They will try their best to help the international volunteers here. A teacher in the elementary school provided her house for an international volunteer from Indonesia and me. And we could also have dinner at her home with her families every day. She helped us a lot.
And other teachers took us to travel around Taiwan, eat in night markets in Kaohsiung and listen to music in a concert and so on.

I was working with an international volunteer together in the same elementary school. He comes from Indonesia. He is very nice and kind. We worked and travelled around together. We became good friends and you will find that becoming good friends with people from other countries is such a fantastic experience.
Actually, Taiwan gave me a lot. I think I was quite lucky to get the chance to Taiwan to be an international volunteer. I learned and gained so much here. If I had the chance, I would go back to Taiwan to see all my friends in Taiwan. Thank you Taiwan and I love people in Taiwan!
